What the Rev. B MacBook Air needs

An ultra light notebook has tradeoffs, and I’m perfectly ok with an external optical drive and Ethernet dongle. (For the rest that don’t get this point, go get a MacBook Pro or a big, honkin’ Dell.)

Two things that’ll make me bite…

  1. 45nm Penryn processor for cooler operation and better battery life
  2. Just one more USB port, for that extra thing we may need to connect

Of course, I can’t resist throwing in a couple more that’ll make the perfect, dream MacBook Air…

  1. A 160GB drive, for iLife and the finer things in life
  2. Optical output integrated into the headphone jack, just like the MacBooks, for musicians on the go
  3. A higher resolution 1440 x 900 display, like the Lenovo X300
