ISPs Blocking BitTorrent Traffic

Comcast (US), Cox (US) and StarHub (Singapore) are the most notorious among the bunch of slimebag ISPs that oversell their network capacity (“10 Mbps unlimited! Fastest in the market!”) while purchasing very little, then selectively determines what the customer can or cannot do with their internet connection.

Net neutrality is important, and this is a critical to the future of the internet. We as customers have to demand it. Or would you want your pipe to the internet be tightly metered and controlled just like your mobile phone plan?

Read on for more on Comcast’s false declarations to the FCC. On a sitenote, Comcast acquired Plaxo. Who knows what despicable companies will do to “mine” your personal data. Many have already deleted their Plaxo accounts.
