iPhone Wish #2: Fondle Mode

Since its such a sexy thing and everybody wants to caress it, I do not want people poking around my contact lists, emails and SMS messages. But I also do not want to seem like a selfish jerk who won’t show people “the best phone ever”, so Apple should build something like this:

• Manage a list of “private” apps that are to be kept from prying eyes
• Set a password for a special “demo” mode
• Turn on the “demo” mode to hide or prevent private apps from launching
• Prevent or defer pop up alert dialogs from private apps, for the occasion when your wife sees that cheeky SMS from your girlfriend :O

For the really dangerous people, the list could be of apps that will be shown. The rest will be hidden. Alternatively, seriously consider not passing them your iPhone.
